For the Classic Synths soundbank, We have recreated the popular sound of vintage analog and digital synthesizers adding many new real time control features found on the Triton. The first twenty one programs are all monophonic bass & lead sounds. Many of the bass and leads have different types of modulation programmed into the ribbon controller. Also, engaging the arpeggiator on the bass sounds with give you a cool rhythmic pulse to use.

The remaining 100+ programs are made up of synth brasses, pads & strings, assorted hits & bits, more basses & leads and "rhythmic grooves" using the Tritons arpeggiator. Many grooves have a "Sample & Hold" type of sound that was very common in the style of the 60's and 70's analog synths. The type of sound used by groups like "Emerson, Lake & Palmer " and "Kraftwerk". Other grooves are totally unique to the Triton and have a very 21st century sound. Many of these grooves can be used as the foundation to your rhythm tracks. Sync them to your drum machine tracks or the drum loops found in our Techno/Dance collection and a whole new world of rhythm textures open up.

The combinations feature many "splits & layered sounds" as well as many more "rhythmic grooves". Usually the split polnt can be found at middle C, although there are many combos that have multi splits over a several octave range. Several combos include the Tritons "RPPR" rhythmic feature which will enable you to create an entire track from one combi.
